After reviewing possible sources of protein we decided to use ultra-filtered milk protein, which contains more protein, more calcium and less sugar. This sophisticated process is more expensive; the milk is from free-range cows in the Swiss Alps. The milk is mechanically filtered; this mild treatment guarantees a less processed protein, which is rich in whey protein as well as casein. Another benefit is that this product is high in amino acids including BCAA’s, which are essential for muscle growth. Another advantage of our pure protein is that the body will absorb it easily, nourishing your muscles faster. The bars also have 7g of healthy fats and 14g of dietary fiber. Without enough fiber in your diet, your digestive system will not be able to absorb protein and other nutrients. The net carbs are just 11g and we cover the whole bar in delicious German chocolate that only adds 13g of natural sugar. Another plus is that this product contains essential minerals such as 20% DV (daily value) of Calcium which is needed for bone strength, additionally 25% DV of Iron which helps the red blood cells carrying oxygen in our body. We recommend drinking a bottle of water with this bar to ensure the adequate breakdown of protein, carbs, dietary fiber, vitamins and minerals.
