The small French village of Audun, where the Boch family first established their pottery, is the inspiration for this pastoral dinnerware pattern. The creamer's farm scene of horses pulling a plow is based on a copper engraving from the turn of the last century. Classic in shape, the straight sides of the creamer slant inward toward the top, then flare out in a yellow band highlighting a black laurel wreath. Another yellow band circles the base, while the spout and handle exhibit a simple grace. Dressy enough to keep only for formal gatherings, Audun Ferme also makes everyday dining a fine occasion.
